Amanda Comings attended the University of Washington and graduated with a Bachelor’s Degree in Communications and a minor in Nutrition. While at UW, Amanda served as a Freshman Interest Group Leader for incoming UW freshmen and held various leadership positions in her sorority.
Amanda spent the years between UW and law school working for a law firm in Seattle, Washington, learning the ins and outs of civil law.
Amanda moved to San Diego and enrolled at California Western School of Law (CWSL). While at CWSL, she served on the California Western International Law Journal as an Associate Writer and was later elected Senior Editor. Amanda also sat on the Journal’s Lead Articles Committee. The Committee reviewed submitted articles and voted on which ones to offer publication. Along with helping prepare other articles for publication, Amanda had the honor of having her own article chosen for publication in the Journal. Amanda also worked as a Research Assistant for a CWSL professor, helping him research and edit his scholarly articles. Ultimately, Amanda graduated from CWSL on the Dean’s list, along with earning academic excellence awards.
Amanda has lived up and down the West Coast. In her spare time, Amanda enjoys reading, traveling, photography, and baking.
